Bereavement Care Packages
(Formally known as: Officer Down Care Packages)

“Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” – John 15:13

Losing a colleague in the line of duty is one of the most difficult events to face in the career of a first responder.

No matter the line: blue, red, or gold, the hurt and loss runs deep.

At the First Responder Outreach Group we recognize the sacrifice, mental anguish, and long-term effects this type of trauma has on first responders.

These difficult events have compelled the First Responder Outreach Group to initiate a mission to send affected agencies, and emergency communication centers bereavement care packages.

These care packages can include but are not limited to the following items:

mental health journals, tissues, memorial items, and critical mental health information. Exact contents are subject to change.

Donations: We are in need of donations of either goods or funds.

We also seek sponsors for our bereavement care package program.

Sadly, the need for these care packages is great and we are unable to fulfill all the needs without donations.

Please use the contact us form if you are interested in donating goods or sponsorship.

We will do our best to accommodate as many requests as possible.

Requests: We try to fill requests for care packages as soon as we are able, as they are time sensitive. If you are reaching out on behalf of a agency or ECC please include, contact names, and phone numbers. As we will need to gather more information in regards to the number of individuals in their agency etc. We limit the care packages to a timeline of two weeks from the incident.

Please reach out to us directly with requests that are past this timeline.
